Swim Instructors:
Our swim program includes children ages 5 months to approx. 12 years. We have warm water, small groups and use lots of toys to encourage children to love swimming and make playing in the water a lifetime activity. Over 60% of our swimmers are under 6 years old. Our instructors are super friendly, extremely helpful, love to play in the water with children and enjoy speaking to parents. This is a high energy job that requires patience, compassion, a sense of humor and the desire to help children be successful.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Teaching group lessons to children ages 3 - 12years.
- Communicating daily with parents regarding their child's progression in class.
- Assisting parents and children before and after class.
- Cleaning the pool area and locker rooms.
Requirements:
- Previous experience teaching children.
- Lifeguard certification completed within three months of start date.
- Basic first aid and cpr training.
Shifts available mornings, late afternoons and evenings. Instructors must work a minimum of two shifts per week. Wage DOE.
Evening Cleaner:
This position is available immediately in the evenings. Cleaning consists of sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms and locker rooms, washing windows, vacuuming, dusting. Must be able to work independently. A great cleaner will desire to make the facility sparkling clean and work hard to improve the overall appearance. Hours are 8-10 pm Monday - Thursday, 6-8 pm Friday and possibly some weekends. Applicant must be available to work at least two evenings per week but may work more. Starting wage is $10 per hour. Resume is not required.
